That said, i genuinely like “Should Be Higher”. “The Child Inside” sounds like a bad Erasure b-side. I suppose “Broken” is ok, but sounds too close to “Little 15” for comfort. i thought it was weird that “Heaven” could be chosen as the first single, then i heard the rest of the LP. personally i’d get a remix LP out there as soon as possible, perhaps let Darren Emerson, Rollo & Sister Bliss, even Alan Wilder or Vice Clarke have a go. it’s not that the songs are bad, but they are drably arranged. i dare say a lot of the points will be valid. I have a funny feeling this LP is going to come in for a real kicking. I can’t believe that there are fans of DM that think that this garbage is better of PTA that for me is the best album since 1993. SOTU for me is better than this Delta Machine that is the worst album since Exciter, I’ve listened it many times but tracks as My Little Universe, Broken and Soothe My Soul are too pour, The only Wrong is better than the whole Delta Machine that has some good songs but non have strong singles. Want to hear a great album today? the new strokes album is fucking good.
